About Payatech ReadyCheck
Payatech ReadyCheck is a curated library of professional-grade assessment templates, governance frameworks, readiness scorecards, and procurement checklists designed for one purpose: helping public sector technology leaders make ERP decisions with rigor and confidence.
If you are a State or local government CIO, an enterprise IT director, or a procurement officer managing a major ERP modernization initiative, this resource was built for you.
The Problem No One Wants to Talk About
ERP failures in the public sector are not rare — they are routine. Across state agencies, court systems, municipalities, and public universities, organizations pour millions into ERP implementations that run years over schedule, dramatically over budget, and still fail to deliver what was promised.
The pattern is almost always the same: inadequate readiness assessment before the contract is signed. Organizational readiness goes unexamined. Data governance is assumed rather than evaluated. Stakeholder alignment is declared rather than tested. Procurement requirements are drafted without governance structures in place to enforce them.
By the time those gaps surface — and they always surface — it's too late to course-correct without significant cost and political damage.
Why Sanaz Ahmadi Built This
Sanaz Ahmadi is the Founder of Payatech Consulting and a former Statewide Chief Information Officer for the Nebraska Judicial Branch, where she led enterprise technology modernization across more than 200 locations. She has managed the full arc of public sector IT leadership: building governance structures from scratch, navigating state procurement requirements, managing vendor relationships, and presenting technology strategy to executives, judges, and legislative stakeholders who expect clarity and accountability.
She built Payatech ReadyCheck because she watched — repeatedly — what happens when organizations skip the front-end work. The templates and frameworks in this library are not theoretical constructs. They are distilled from real-world government IT leadership: the questions she wished she had been handed earlier, the scorecards she built herself under deadline pressure, and the governance structures she developed after seeing what breaks when they are absent.
What You Get When You Use ReadyCheck
When you work from a ReadyCheck framework, you are not starting from a blank page. You are working from a structure that reflects the real complexity of public sector ERP decisions — the procurement constraints, the stakeholder dynamics, the governance requirements, and the organizational readiness factors that determine whether an implementation succeeds or fails.
You get a credible, defensible methodology you can present to your executive team, your board, and your vendors. You get the confidence of knowing your readiness assessment covers the domains that matter — not just the ones that are easy to check.
Most importantly, you get a clear path forward before you commit to a contract that is very difficult to undo.
